Viewing estimated corrosion rates

You can use the Advanced System Management Interface (ASMI) to display the estimated corrosion rate of the system.

The estimated corrosion rate is read from the system's corrosion sensors. It is a read-only value.

To perform this operation, you must have one of the following authority levels:
  • Administrator
  • Authorized service provider
Note: This task is not supported on 8247-21L, 8247-22L, 8247-42L, 8284-22A, 8286-41A, and 8286-42A systems.

To view the estimated corrosion rate, complete the following steps:

  1. On the ASMI Welcome pane, specify your user ID and password, and click Log In.
  2. In the navigation area, expand System Configuration.
  3. Select Estimated Corrosion Rates.
