Deleting hot spare disks
Delete a hot spare disk to free it for use in other disk arrays.
- Run the iprconfig utility by typing iprconfig.
- Select Work with disk arrays.
- Select Delete a hot spare device.
- Select the hot spare disks to be deleted and press Enter.
- To reconfigure the disks, press Enter. If you do not want to reconfigure the disks as hot spares, type q to cancel.
