Error description

  • IBM Developer for z systems 14.1 COBOL Editor does not
    correctly shift the selected lines to the right using the Tab
    key.
    The indentation of the selected lines is changed after the move.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • COBOL EDITOR DOES NOT CORRECTLY SHIFT THE LINES TO THE RIGHT
    USING THE TAB KEY
    

Problem conclusion

  • A change was made that returned correct line lengths. The text
    lines could then have the correct leading padding of spaces when
    the tab was performed.
