APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Creating a project only with one PL1 program, the build will be
hanging.  The ADPL1Compiler.exe process is hanging.

Local fix

  • When removing or commenting the line(*DCL GENERIC  FILE RECORD
INPUT;  ), the compilation is successful.

Problem summary

  • PL1 COMPILER HANGS WHEN BUILDING PROJECT

Problem conclusion

  • Problem with parsing of variable declarations for variables
with keyword names.

Temporary fix

  • When removing or commenting the line(*DCL GENERIC  FILE RECORD
INPUT;  ), the compilation is successful.
