Error description

  • Rational Developer for System z (RDz): RDZ client 9.5.1.4 does
not offer the code page cp1255 in the RSE MVS File properties.

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • Last versions of Java do not allow to correctly determine the
system locale.  Therefore the local ASCII codepage that should
reflect the system locale is replaced by Latin-1 codepage.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The respective combo boxes are created using
createReadonlyCobmo() method.
Changed to createCobmo() method to make them writable and allow
the end-user to set desired codepage.
