APAR status
Closed as program error.
Error description
When building certain COBOL programs, an error like the following may be generated: Error [1075] : Failed to insert into repository data for the current program and the build for that program is unsuccessful.
Local fix
none known
Problem summary
The problem happens when there is a case present in the COBOL code where the F token was used in a RECORDING MODE F clause in a FD definition in the program, and a variable with that name exists too, used in a qualified way (e.g. F OF REC-1 OF REC-2). This caused an internal conflict in the compiler which led to the 1075 error message.
Problem conclusion
The internal conflict within the compiler was resolved and the program is now successfully built in Application Discovery.
Temporary fix
none known.
