Error description
DESC : When the customer opened file under USS (Z/OS UNIX Files directory), she found that Japanese characters in the file are garbled. Checked this issue, we found that Cp1047: Default from remote system is automatically used when IDz client workstation connects to Remote System. This customer uses Japanese IDz client workstation (IDz Client V14.2.1). For the test, we tried to change the encoding setting of Remote System (Properties->Host "Default encoding"), but the changed value cannot be saved. Everytime when the client connects to the Remote System, the value is returned to the original value (Cp1047). Only IDz client V14.2.2 Uk can save modified value
Local fix
Problem summary
