  • IBM Developer for z Systems : IDz 14.2.2 - z/OS Explorer 3.1
Remote Scratchpad can't display new added member.

Steps to reproduce:
- Find a PDS in Remote Systems and copy it to the Remote
Scratchpad view and expand the PDS in that view.
- In Remote Systems, select the PDS and
right-mouse-click->New->Member.  Create the member as "ABC".
- View the PDS in the Remote Scratchpad and observe the new
member isn't showing there.

Problem summary


    

  • When the Remote Scratchpad is used to display a PDS, if a new
member is created under that PDS from a different view, the PDS
in the Remote Scratchpad doesn't display the new member

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • A PDS in the Remote Scratchpad does not react to a new member
creation event from another view
