APAR status

Error description

  • JMCobol compiler hang in DBFilter section caused by CASE-WHEN
    inside function calls in SQL code is not supported.
    

Local fix

  • Stop the hanged JMCobol compiler and resume the build
    operation.
    

Problem summary

  • PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    CASE-WHEN inside function calls in SQL code is not supported
    yet in our COBOL scanner causing it to hang in versions prior to
    5.1.0.5.
