APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Using IBM Developer for z/OS v14.1.x or v14.2, or Explorer for
z/OS v3.1.x -
Right-click on a LOAD library, select ShowInTable, and then
export to CSV, but no CSV file is created at the selected
location.  The IDZ export dialog should have displayed a panel
(Export to CSV) with the message "Successfully exported to file
...". However that didn't happen. Furthermore, it did not
display any error message.

Note that the problem occurs with LOAD libraries only.  Regular
source libraries get exported okay.  Load modules are treated
differently when fetching properties.

Problem summary


    

  • When load libraries are displayed in a table, the csv export
functionality fails to create a csv file

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The export needs an extra check in the case of load libraries
otherwise an exception is hit preventing the creation of the
csv.
