APAR status

Error description

  • The build of the following Cobol line in 5.1.0.3

   AND DECODE(VERSION,' ',:WORK.VERSION,VERSION) = :WORK.VERSION

Result the following:

   Warning [999] : Syntax Error : '('

Local fix

  • n/a

Problem summary

  • The issue was generated by the fact that DECODE was not
recognized as a SQL function name. The fix consisted in adding
it's name to the list of SQL keywords.

Problem conclusion

  • The fix will be available in version 5.1.0.6
