Error description
With IBM Explorer for z/OS V3.0.1, the client may freeze (hang) for long time when connecting to the host. The freeze or time of delay appears to be directly correlated to the number of MVS File filters, the number of members within the PDS and also it depends if the filters were expanded before shutting down the workspace. The same freeze behavior was observed for MVS Filters and datasets under both the Remote System Explorer view and the z/OS Projects view.
