APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Client installs AD 5.1.0.0 on a server using the hostname of
"localhost" and configures the server.
In the process "localhost" (without the quotes) is used in all
UNC path names in the server's configuration.
All functionality seems to work fine and (local) Analyze Client
is able to view analysis options for the projects, except that
when trying to view a Flow Chart, a message like the following
is displayed in Analyze Client:
" Invalid flowchart file for PGMABCD_6.xml!"
where PGMABCD is the name of the program for which the user
was trying to generate a flowchart.

  • "localhost" is not resolved correctly as "127.0.0.1" in some
specific situations.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Code was changed so that "localhost" is correctly resolved as
"127.0.0.1".
