ADDI 5050  Windows Server 2016  MS SQL Server 2016

An Endevor Library was extracted to a simple PDS.  The PDS was
added to
the Project and then Scanned.  The PDS contains COBOL programs.
When
using Build Client to select the programs for the Project's
COBOL
folder, some of the COBOL programs are shown as Assembler or
Natural.
Opening those mis-classified programs shows an actual COBOL
program.

Local fix

  • n/a

Problem summary

  • There was a bug in the classification code that did not
recognize all forms of COBOL comments.  As a result, it followed
the wrong path through the classification logic and arrived at
an incorrect result.

Problem conclusion

  • This error has now been corrected in AD 5.1.0.*
