APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • "There is a disturbing side effect I notice on Program Call
Graph. When selecting Program A the Callgraph does not include
Program A nor does it reference it. But refers to completely
other programs. Like below screen shot, I?ve asked for DRESIT4S
and got answer on other programs which are not related. This is
repeatable for other programs. From what I found this only
happens to GMDrive after the recreate / build. Other reference
seems ok, e.g. when selecting a main program the ?Pgm usage in
Jobs? shows good result but ?Program Call Graph? again shows
completely different jobs. The effect seems to be only in the
rebuild GMDrive Project, not in the other Projects."

Problem summary

  • The DBD file parser accumulates, for a given statement such as
FIELD, all the lines until it encounters a new statement.

Problem conclusion

  • In some cases, when the DBD file contains custom WORDS in
between valid statements, these custom WORDS were considered as
being part of the valid statements.
