  • Use of undefined paragraph/section error appears in COBOL
    compiler when using ++INCLUDE.

Problem summary

  • The defect consists in a CALL statement that have the list of
    parameters in a copybook and that is followed by a paragraph
    name.
    The ++INCLUDE of the copybook is followed by a dot, that was
    removed due to a defect in the code.
    As a result the paragraph name was considered as part of the
    list of parameters of CALL statement.
    The fix consists in not removing the dot that follow the
    ++INCLUDE statement.
    The fix will be available in the 5.1.0.0 version
