Error description
in AD 505 Analyze Client user couldn't view projects when their user ID is entered in uppercase in Configuration Server but they had logged in to Windows using a different (lower or mixed) case.
Local fix
The user 'Name' is case sensitive and could be entered in Configuration Server in the same way that the user logs in. The user 'Domain' field is case insensitive.
Problem summary
The case (upper, mixed, lower) of characters in the Name part of a user's credentials that the user typed when they logged into Windows is being used to compare against what is entered in IBM AD Configuration Server. If the user logs in with characters of a different case than what was entered in Configuration Server, and projects are restricted to using only Access Control Lists (ACLs), this will prevent the user from seeing their projects in Analyze Client.
Problem conclusion
For Windows users, authentication for project access via ACLs in Configuration Server is changed in IBM AD code so that the check against the Name part of user credentials is now case-insensitive. Domain part of user credentials was, and will remain, case-insensitive.
Temporary fix
