APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • While running rtc2ad.bat to import source files from RTC to AD,
customer experience large numbers of source files for which the
type was not resolved.  This could be seen by checking the
"unresolved.txt" file which listed all the unclassified source.

Problem summary

  • While running rtc2ad.bat to import source files from RTC to AD,
customer experience large numbers of source files for which the
type was not resolved.  This could be seen by checking the
"unresolved.txt" file which listed all the unclassified source.

Problem conclusion

  • It was discovered that the scanner tool that was called by
rtc2ad was failing to recognize PLI source if there were a
string of spaces preceeding a comment line in the source file.
An extra check was added to the scanning process to handle this
situation.
