APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • With a CDC for DB2 for i source, a subscription will fail to
start if it has idle tables that are ungrouped by refresh order
and active tables that are grouped. The subscription will end
abnormally with a DMU1803 error message.

Local fix

  • Move the active tables to ungrouped tables.

Problem conclusion

  • Upgrading to IDR/CDC for DB2 i 11.3.3 Interim Fix 15 or newer
resolves the issue.
