Description

IBM Spectrum Protect Suite V7.1.8 is a bundled offering that provides a comprehensive, scalable, unified recovery management solution that covers all aspects of data protection requirements. Pricing and licensing are based on a back-end terabyte metric. The back-end metric determines license requirements based on the terabytes of data that are stored in primary storage pools and repositories.

The IBM Spectrum Protect Suite - Archive Option provides a lower price for long-term data storage on tape or virtual tape libraries.

The IBM Spectrum Protect Suite - ProtecTIER Option provides a lower price for primary storage capacity on an IBM ProtecTIER device.
