WebSphere Process Server and WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus - Third party JMS Provider Support
Support statement for Third Party Java™ Message Service (JMS) Providers when used with the Generic JMS Binding capability provided with WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus V6.1 (and later releases) and WebSphere Process Server V6.1 (and later releases).
WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus V6.1 (and later releases) and WebSphere Process Server V6.1 (and later releases) include Generic JMS Bindings. The Generic JMS Bindings use the Application Server Facilities section of the JMS 1.1 specification, through the Generic JMS Provider support included in WebSphere Application Server. The Generic JMS Bindings can be used with Third Party JMS Providers which implement the Application Server Facilities section of the JMS 1.1 specification, subject to the following consideration:
- For any Third Party JMS Provider the Customer Technical support will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide the same level of support as that provided for a supported configuration, if it is determined that the problem would exist in a supported configuration or if a commercially reasonable resolution to the problem is available.
- If it is determined that the problem would not exist but for the use of the substituted JMS, and no commercially reasonable resolution is available, you are advised to seek assistance from the Third Party JMS Provider.
Note: IBM has tested the Generic JMS bindings with the following Third Party JMS providers:
- Oracle 10g - OracleAQ
- Oracle 11g - OracleAQ
