This product update corresponds to fixes for Maximo Asset Management and Maximo Asset Management Essentials. This document provides information for you to use when upgrading your product to the latest version.

This fix pack is exclusively for Maximo Asset Management and Maximo Asset Management Essentials and should not be applied to any other product.

Although Base Services has an internal version number of its own (v7.5.0.11), when referring to updates, please refer to the version number for your specific product.

Considerations

-Do not apply the 7.5.0.11 Maximo Asset Management / Maximo Asset Management Essentials fixpack if your system has any of the below products and components installed. Verification is ongoing for these products and additional information will be provided when Maximo Asset Management / Maximo Asset Management Essentials 7.5.0.11 can be applied:

* IBM SmartCloud Control Desk 7.5.1.3 and 7.5.3 will not consume the Maximo 7.5.0.11 fix pack. Clients who use these versions should not update to Maximo 7.5.0.11.

NOTE: A new version of IBM SmartCloud Control Desk 7.5.1.4 will release November 2016 and will consume Maximo 7.5.0.11. At that time, clients with IBM SmartCloud Control Desk 7.5.1.3 who upgrade to 7.5.1.4 will be able to consume Maximo 7.5.0.11. Clients on IBM SmartCloud Control Desk 7.5.3.1 consume Maximo 7.5.0.8.

-Do not apply the 7.5.0.11 Fix Pack if you installed any 7.5 hot fixes after 09/16/16 as they may not be included. If you received any hot fixes after this date, you should not apply the 7.5.0.11 Fix Pack until the first 7.5.0.11 cumulative hot fix is released. At that time, you will need to apply both the 7.5.0.11 Fix Pack and the 7.5.0.11 hot fix. Look to this page for additional information and availability date for this hot fix.

Certain configuration combinations will not work when using applets. These include the following:

Scheduler Gantt View functionality will not work when pairing Firefox 45 with a JRE version greater than 1.8.0_71.

GA Gantt View functionality will not work when pairing Firefox 45 with a JRE version greater than 1.8.0_71.

Graphical Crew Management functionality will not work when pairing Firefox 45 with a JRE version greater than 1.8.0_71.

Asset Topology will not work when pairing Websphere 9 with Firefox 45
