IBM Rational Synergy has been made generally available and contains fixes to version 7.2.

This interim fix includes a fix for an issue for DCM clusters involving 7.2 and pre-7.2 databases, and also includes changes needed by Rational Change Fix Pack It does not include fixes for any APARs.

Note: On UNIX, this patch must be installed using ccm_patch version 45 or its replacement.
Download the ccm_patch file into $CCM_HOME/bin path, owned by ccm_root with execute permission (mode 0755)

How critical is this fix?

Install this iFix at sites running Synergy Release 7.2 if any of the following apply:

1. You have Rational Change 5.3 installed, and you plan to install Fix Pack

2. You have a DCM cluster that includes a mix of 7.2 and pre-7.2 databases.
