ANR3335W Unable to distribute certificate to {admin} for session.

Troubleshooting


Problem

The IBM Spectrum Protect for Virtual Environment GUI logs the following errors : [] GVM5002E: Any error occurred. GVM5109E: An error occurred retrieving data from the IBM Spectrum Protect Server. []

Cause

The Spectrum Protect Backup-Archive client is unable to connect and get all the required info from the Spectrum Protect Server due to the sessionsecurity parameter.

Resolving The Problem

Update the sessionsecurity paramter to transitional for the administrator userid that is configured with the IBM Spectrum Protect for Virtual Environment GUI. The administrator userid that needs to be updated is listed in the ANR3335W message. For example :

ANR3335W Unable to distribute certificate to testuserid for session xxxxx.

In this case, the command to use is :

update admin testuserid sessionsecurity=TRANSitional
