  • IBM lin_tape Driver for Linux x64: IBM lin_tape 3.0.1

11. Quantum Scalar i6 supports IBM Control Path Failover Support for Tape Libraries, and IBM Data Path Failover and Load Balancing Support for Tape Drives with Fiber Channel drives and the following drivers:

  • IBM Atape Driver for AIX: Atape 12.10.4.0
  • IBMTape Driver for Windows x64: IBMTape 6.2.5.5
  • IBM lin_tape Driver for Linux x64: IBM lin_tape 3.0.1

12. The IBM device driver is required for the IBM Ultrium drives. IBM device drivers are available at IBM Fix Central. Choose the following options from the drop-down menus.

  • Product Group -> System Storage
  • System Storage -> Tape systems
  • Tape systems -> Tape drivers and software
  • Tape drivers and software -> Tape device drivers
  • Platform -> select device driver for your platform
