Note1 - How to Update Your Expiring TM1 SSL Certificates - Updater Kit - TM1 10.2.2
  • An updater kit for TM1 10.2.2 (Server Components) will not be made available due to a restriction with the fix packaging. If you are using TM1 10.2.2, please see the IBM Cognos TM1 SSL Expiration - Manual Fix Approach - Landing Page found here: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21991653
  • Note, the IBM Cognos TM1 Client Side Updaters/Steps below ARE APPLICABLE to TM1 10.2.2. Only the Server Side requires the manual steps to be completed.
  • An updater kit for the TM1 10.2.2 Performance Modeler / Cognos Insight provisioning agent is available. This kit is to be applied to the TM1 Application Server. Although the updater applies to the TM1 Application Server, only the Provisioning Agent within is updated. You must still complete the rest of the changes for your version of TM1 per point one. Note3 - How to Update Your Cognos TM1 Client Components for CDM
CDM requires that a TM1 Client be installed on the CDM Application Server for TM1 Connectivity. This client component will need to be updated to ensure that CDM is able to establish a connection with TM1. The TM1 Client Component can be installed either through a Client Installer or a Server Installer.

  • If you installed the TM1 Client/API components through a Client Installer, follow the 'How to Update Your TM1 Architect / TM1 Perspectives Client Installations - Updater Kit - ALL VERSIONS' documentation here: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21991793
  • If you installed the TM1 Client/API components through a Server Installer and also use the TM1 Server components with the same installation, follow the appropriate 'IBM Cognos TM1 Server Side Updates / Steps' documentation above, for the version of TM1 that is installed.
  • If your TM1 Client had been installed using a Server Installer, but you do not use any of the additional Server components - not all Server Side steps are required.
