Question & Answer
Question
Where will the localized data be stored when you publish a BO with localized fields on IBM TRIRIGA?
Cause
Want to understand how IBM TRIRIGA stores my localizable information on the database.
Answer
When using Data Modeler (IBM TRIRIGA Home -> Tools -> Data Modeler), and checking mark some fields with Localizable flag, Language tables are then created for that BO with localizable Text field(s).
Field or column names in the language table (L_) are the same in its corresponding main table (T_).
Language tables are also created for non-live link smart sections.
Language values for note fields are stored in the static database table L_IBS_SPEC_VALUE_NOTES
The localizable property is also supported in Object Migration (OM) tool, but OM package created prior to Platform version 3.3 will override or reset the localizable property of the target environment
See that if you uncheck mark localizable property/flag for a attribute, this will drop the corresponding column from the language (L_) table.
