Troubleshooting
Problem
Customer is configuring a Oracle database connection on the Controller Application server, and while the verify database connection states that Connection Succeeded, when trying to run the Database Convertion Utility they get an error when trying to connect.
Symptom
** ERROR: java.sql.SQLException: I/O exception: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection
Cause
Missing TNS_ADMIN System Environment Variable
Resolving The Problem
Add a new System Variable TNS_ADMIN that is pointing to the directory of the tnsnames.ora file
