Abstract

This document highlights an announcement regarding IBM Rational Software Architect 7.5.x, IBM Rational Software Architect for WebSphere 7.5.x and IBM Rational Software Modeler 7.5.x, and documentation on upgrading your product.

An announcement has been made that extended support for these products will no longer be offered after April 30, 2015:

  • Rational Software Architect 7.5
  • Rational Software Architect for WebSphere Software 7.5
  • Rational Software Modeler 7.5
  • Rational Modeling Extension for Microsoft™ .NET 7.5

Rational Modeling Extension for Microsoft .NET is now a built-in feature in Rational Software Architect 9.0 and Rational Software Architect for WebSphere Software 9.0. See this Knowledge Center topic for more information:
The tables in that topic list the features you can install with Rational Software Architect and Rational Software Architect for WebSphere Software. Install the feature MDD for Microsoft .NET to replace Rational Modeling Extension for Microsoft .NET.
