Abstract

A new version of the Netcool/OMNIbus Probe DSL Factory Framework (probe-dsl-framework-7_5) is available to download from 6 December 2023.

Content

This version of the Probe DSL Factory Framework contains the following updates:

  • Updated Netty 4.1.100.Final (CVE-2023-4586, CVE-2023-34462)
  • Updated Apache Camel 2.25.1 (CVE-2020-11971, CVE-2020-11973, CVE-2020-11972)

This version consists of the following fixes:

  • APAR IJ42142 - Fixed NoClassDefFoundError on Microsoft Windows platform.
  • APAR IJ41243 - Fixed issue with chat in and chat out scripts that only allow up to two pairs of expect and send strings. The probe now handles multiple pairs of expect and send strings.
  • APAR IJ34962 - Ported in fixes for IJ25096, IJ24514, and IJ22673.
  • APAR IJ25096 - The probe might break a single-line message into multiple processed events due to probe reads faster than new data insert in the target file.
  • APAR IJ24514 - Fixed issue that causes probe to shut down abruptly with IllegalStateException when reading a file.
  • APAR IJ22673 - Introduce new property 'ParserLineTerminator' for setting delimiter of frame decoder in Socket framework. 

The Netcool/OMNIbus Probe DSL Factory Framework is a dependency of the following Netcool/OMNIbus Integrations:

  • Probe for IEC CIM Advanced Metering Infrastructure
  • Probe for OPC Unified Architecture
  • Java Probe for Generic Log File
  • Java Probe for Socket
  • Probe for Microsoft Exchange Web Services
