Issue with using TRS/LQE to track resources in Rational DOORS Web Access 9.5

Troubleshooting

Problem

If you have configured your Rational DOORS as a TRS provider, and intend to run LQE queries on "created by" and/or "modified by" data, then any changes to Rational DOORS user email addresses will require you to re-index your Rational DOORS data.

Cause

Rational DOORS includes email addresses in the RDF-XML responses for an OSLC GET operation. The email value is mapped to the foaf:mbox property, with "mailto:" attached to the beginning. If the user does not have an email address, no entry is made.

This information is required by LQE, and makes writing cross-product queries easier in the absence of single sign-on.

Resolving The Problem

Any changes to user email addresses (for example, add, remove, or change) should be reflected in the LQE database by re-indexing of the data.

Please note that re-indexing may take some time to complete and can have a significant impact on performance.
