Question
How can IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC) or IBM Rational Quality Manager (RQM) be configured so that is possible to select an IBM Rational DOORS View when a collection as opposed to an individual artifact is required?
Cause
It is not possible to select a link to a requirements collection, known in DOORS as a Module or a View. Instead, you can only select a single requirement. As a result, a test plan in RQM cannot create a link to a requirements collection from DOORS and a plan in RTC cannot implement a requirements collection from DOORS.
The association between the RTC or RQM project and DOORS is on a view or module level. For example, the RTC project may have associated a DOORS Module called ForPlansInRTC. In the Add Association dialog, this will look like:

Create this association on the DOORS database level, not the module or view level.
To do this, in the Add Association dialog select 'Services for DOORS ERS Repository'
It should now be possible to select DOORS view.
