Question & Answer
Question
A Run Task ended with Return Code 9009. What does that mean?
Answer
The Run Task is most likely submitting a batch (.bat) or command (.cmd) file.
A program called in the batch or command file was not found.
Windows sets the environment %errorlevel% value to 9009 and sends this value back to CDW.
Connect Direct will record the return code from a Run Task in the Statistics log.
For example:
H:\>direct
'direct' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
H:\>echo %errorlevel%
9009
For example:
H:\>direct
'direct' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
H:\>echo %errorlevel%
9009
