Using Rational Change results in "The application's digital signature has an error"
Attempts to use IBM Rational Change results in the security warning "The application's digital signature has an error. Do you want to run the application?".
An image of the error:
The certificate used to sign the Java Applet has expired.
For release 5.2 & 5.3 the certificate expired on the 24th of February 2012.
Resolving the problem
For release 5.3 you can resolve this issue by applying Rational Change 184.108.40.206 iFix002.
For release 5.2 you can resolve this issue by applying Rational Change Fix Pack 6 (220.127.116.11) for 5.2.
For releases of Rational Change before version 5.2:
- Click the Always trust content from this publisher check box in the security warning window
- Click Run
- Restart the web browser
