MultiUserBaseDir appends 'Lotus\Notes\Data' to customized path specified for Notes multi-user data directory

When you use the MultiUserBaseDir parameter to specify a customized data directory path for a Notes multi-user installation, "Lotus\Notes\Data" is appended to whatever path you specify.

For example,

If the path you want is c:\data, you would run the following command:


However, once the install completes you find that the data directory is located at:


Resolving the problem

This issue is resolved using the workaround described in Tech Note 1450751 -- Upgrading an existing Citrix environment using an 'out of the box' Notes multi-user configuration setup.
