@Command([ToolsRunMacro]) in Navigator produces "Entry not found in index" error in Notes 8.5.1

Technote (troubleshooting)

Problem

In Notes 8.5.1, Navigator design elements containing a hotspot with @Command([ToolsRunMacro]) produce the error "Entry not found in index".

Diagnosing the problem

This is a Notes client-side error; it does not occur in Notes 8.5.0.

Only hotspots or other clickable elements containing this formula within a Navigator are affected.

No other formula, @Function, or @Command are affected within the same context.

The formula @Command([ToolsRunMacro]) works in other design element types (Forms, views, outlines, actions, etc.) without error.

Resolving the problem

This issue is fixed in 8.5.1 Fix Pack 4 and 8.5.2.

Fix details: SPR# DPOL7XRGK8

Refer to the Upgrade Central site for details on upgrading Notes/Domino.

Workarounds

Copy the agent code from the referenced agent directly into the hotspot element of the Navigator.
