Using 'Send To -> As Attachment' in Notes places text in 'To' field instead of message Body
Intermittently, when sending a file using Send To -> As Attachment from Windows Explorer, text that should be placed in the body of the new memo is placed in the To field.
When sending a file as an attachment
- from Windows Explorer: right-click on the file, select files on right pane -> select Email this file | Email the selected items, the following text is added to the To field instead of the Body of the new message:
The message is ready to be sent with the following file or link attachments: [filename.ext]
Note: To protect against computer viruses, e-mail programs may prevent sending or receiving certain types of file attachments. Check your e-mail security settings to determine how attachments are handled.,
- from an open file (i.e. Word doc, pdf, etc): File -> Send to -> Mail Recipient (As Attachment)..., several line breaks are added to the To field.
