Problem
Adding additional calculations which referenced previous calculations resulted in the error below.
Such calculation would be: Calc2: If Calc1 >= Value Then
Resolving The Problem
Using Imp 6.0 613 without the [Query Options] heading in the impromptu.ini file. Modifying the Impromptu.ini file by adding [Query Options] heading and the line 'use automatic Oracle decode=0' . When ran the report again the SQL was shorter and had no Decode in the SQL.
Alternative would be to create a view on the database which performs the calculations.
