Error description

  • Main column in DOORS table properties corrupted
In DOORS 9.5.1.x in the table properties-?display of a DOORS
table the 'Attribute to Display' drop-down has an option for
'Object Heading ? Text' which causes problems with DOORS
thinking this is an actual attribute rather than the main
    column.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. restore attached New_Module
2.dma file in DOORS 9.5.1.x 2. open the module and select File
-? Export -? Microsoft Office -? Word... from the menu 3. keep
all the export options set to default and click the Export
    button

This error is thrown: -R-E- DXL: unknown Object attribute
(Object Heading ? Text) Backtrace: ...
Support's Observations: I think perhaps this might be a defect
introduced sometime between DOORS 9.5.0.0 and 9.5.1. This change
seems to be causing a problem with the Word exporter thinking
there really is an attribute called 'Object Heading ? Text' as
opposed to just exporting the contents of the main column.
Furthermore, you can see that when the 'Object Heading ? Text'
value is chosen from the drop down in DOORS 9.5.1, this
interprets to a blank attribute name in DOORS 9.5.0.0.
