APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When a user tries to look at the HTML report from the Rhapsody
  HTML Exporter, the browser pane will not open. This has been
  traced to the recent installation of Java 7 Update 25. It was
  tested with Java 7 Update 21 and it works with no issues. This
  has been tried with Rhapsody 8.0.1, 8.0.2 and 8.0.3 with the
  same results.

Problem conclusion

• Fixed - by signing the applet used to view reports
  Work around:
  1. Goto the Java library and:
   - edit a file named java.policy. (e.g - on my
  machine it was in  c:\Program Files
  (x86)\Java\jre7\lib\security)
    Inside the grant {  add:
    permission java.io.FilePermission "??ALL
  FILES??", "read";
   - run javacpl.exe (in folder bin) and reduce the
  security level to Medium.
  
  2. Goto the folder of the report, and edit a file named
  ($ModelName)_cnt.htm (e.g. dishwasher_cnt.htm)
   Delete the line
      document.writeln("?PARAM NAME=ICONZIPFILE
  VALUE='pixs/icons.zip'?");
  
  We are working with Java to try and have them certificate
  R+'s reports - PRM 20260,001,866
  
  
  Note: to restore old behavior (in case custoemr is using old
  version of Java) you can add:
  [ReporterPLUS]
  UseJavaPre7=TRUE
  
  to Rhapsody.ini file
