Error description
The 'Undo Hijack' option when called from the IBM Rational ClearCase SCM Adapter 7.6.x in a snapshot view does not work correctly. When invoked, the content of the file remains the same in both IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD) and Eclipse, even though the Explorer view updates the icon for the element, disables the action 'Undo Hijacked' and enables 'Hijack' in the Team menu. Also the file is still marked as hijacked when looking at it in the IBM Rational ClearTeam Explorer (CTE), ClearCase Explorer and the command line. Steps to reproduce: 1. Access ClearCase resources in a snapshot view using the SCM Adapter 7.6 integrated into an Eclipse shell 2. Hijack a file from Eclipse and make a change 3. Select 'Undo Hijack' Team option on that file and note the Hijack icon goes away 4. Open the file and note the changes have not reverted to the version committed to the VOB. WORKAROUND: Perform the undo hijack using ClearCase Explorer or command line. You can also perform an update of the element from the Eclipse integration, where the hijack will be found and you will be prompted to resolve it.
