Error description

  • Rational Developer for System z - RDz - v8.5.1: When copy
replacing is used for a field name 'A-COPY' in a source,
LPEX editor wrongly marks it with this annotation
    ''TextNameLiteral' expected after this token.'

Problem summary

  • The parser is treating the text "COPY" within the source of a
copy/replaced member as the start of a COPY statement.

Problem conclusion

  • Since a COPY statement with the REPLACING phrase cannot contain
nested COPY statements, we no longer treat "COPY" text as the
start of a copy statement if it is being in-lined via a
    COPY/REPLACE statement.
