Error description

• When working in the IBM Rational ClearTeam Explorer
  (CTE)/Rational Software Architect Real Time Edition (RSARTE)
  integration, you have checked-out an RSARTE efx file unreserved.
  Another user has also checked out the same file, made a change
  and checked in the file.
  
  When you attempt to checkin the file, a pop-up appears
  indicating a newer version was checked-in and a merge was
  necessary.  When you click the merge button, the following error
  occurs:
  
  Caption: Merge Needed for Checkin File is not the Latest
  Error: 'Objects being compared or merged must be versions of the
  same element'
  A more recent version of This_Class.efx has been checked in by:
  Your_name
  
  WORKAROUND:
  You should:
  
  1) Click the leave checked out button.
  2) Go to ClearCase Explorer and open the graphical version tree
  for the file.
  3) Perform the checkin from the Version Tree Browser.
  4)  The RSARTE merge screen will pop up and allow you to
  complete the merge.
