Error description

  • Version Details:
    DOORS 9.5.0.1

    Problem Description:

Any user defined object level attribute is available under
'External Link Attributes' while running the Tractability
Wizard, and if you select them, it returns a blank column.

We had a similar defect APAR PM1719, which is been resolved in
9.5.0.1, here when you select External link only (by unchecking
DOORS Links) in step 1 (Type of Analysis), then you don't see
any object attribute to select. You can only select External
    Link Attributes.

But the problem is that user defined attributes are getting
listed in 'External Link Attributes' while running the
Tractability Wizard, and if you select them , it creates a blank
    column in the DOORS Module.

    Steps to reproduce:

    - Create an object level attribute in a DOORS Module for example
'Text for External Link' add some values to couple of objects
    - Now create an External Link to these objects.
    - Save the module and Open the Tractability Wizard
    - Select External link in Step 1 (type of analysis)
    - Then in the External Link Attribute ? Select 'Text for
    External Link'
    - Run the wizard, you will get a blank column.

    Workaround: None
