Rational Developer for System z (RDz) PL/I Real Time Syntax Check does not accept the '<>' sequence (not equal). Rational Developer for System z - RDz - v184.108.40.206 The PL/I Real Time Syntax Check marks wrongly as an error the '<>' sequence characters, with: 'ERROR TOKEN' - unexpected token(s) ignored. Recreation Steps: Add the following line in a PL/I source file: if theAnswer <> 'A' then Display('Hello'); The local syntax check marks that line with 'ERROR TOKEN'..., There is no error found using the Remote Syntax check (using z/OS IBM Enterprise PL/I for z/OS V4R3 library).
