Error description

• APAR Error Description:
  Rational Developer for System z 8.5.1.1 - RDz - When JOBCARD
  skeletal JCL member used for CARMA Endevor batch
  actions/requests, last line of JOBCARD suppressed from generated
  JCL.
  
  When customer has specified a default jobcard in their CRABCFG
  member (i.e. DEFAULT-JOBCARD  = CRABJOBC), the last line of JCL
  specified
  in the DEFAULT-JOBCARD member is suppressed when JCL is
  generated.  CARMA user will experience a JCL error if the last
  line
  in DEFAULT-JOBCARD is a 'continuation' of the JOBCARD for the
  Endevor batch action ('Submit as batch job' selected on Endevor
  request).
  
  Local Fix:
  
  (1) Add a comment JCL statement (//*) as last line/statement in
  DEFAULT-JOBCARD member OR (2) user can manually modify JOBCARD
  when presented the 'Batch
  Submit Preview' screen.  Once JOBCARD is modified here, that
  modified JOBCARD will be used for subsequent Endevor batch
  requests for that CARMA user.

  01.The RDz client is not picking up the last line of the
     jobcard that is sent by the Endevor RAM. Inserting a JCL
     comment line at the end of the Jobcard is a workaround. Or,
     the user can modify the Jobcard in the preview dialog.
  

Problem conclusion

• 01.The RDz Endevor RAM is being changed to insert a JCL comment
     line at the end of the jobcard so that if the RDz client
     drops the last line, the original default Jobcard that is
     presented in the preview dialog is what is expected.
