Error description

  • Problem Description:
    
    DOORS omits the Header and Footer when exported as Table using a
    Costume Template in DOORS 9.5.
    
    
    Steps to Reproduce:
    
    - Create any Word template using Word 2003, Word 2007 or Word
    2010 that has Header and Footer.
    - Click File ? Export ?  Microsoft Office ? Word
    - Select Table layout on General Tab
    - Uncheck options: Include DOORS heading Numbers, Issue warning
    for unregistered OLE
    - Uncheck option:Use normal template on Advanced tab browse to
    attached .dot file and Export.
    
    Observations:
    
    This is working fine in DOORS 9.3.x.x.
    
    No workaround found yet.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Changes to the Word export code caused template header\footers
    to stop working
    

Problem conclusion

  • This is not reproducible in versions of DOORS after 9.5
    

Temporary fix

  • There is no workaround for this issue
