Closed as program error.
Abstract: Attempts to run a JUnit tests on Windows might result in an error 'CreateProcess=87, the parameter is incorrect' Problem: When you run JUnit tests, you might experience an error similar to the following: 'Cannot run program 'C:\IBM\SDP\runtimes\base_v7\java\jre\bin\javaw.exe' (in directory 'YourWorkspaceDirectory'): CreateProcess error=87, The parameter is incorrect.' For more technical information, see: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=327193 Local fix: Some work-arounds are documented in the underlying Eclipse defect: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=327193 The basic approach is to shorten the classpath containing the JAR files to run JUnit test-suites so that it is less than the Windows limit of 8100 characters.
When you run JUnit tests, you might experience an error similar to the following: "Cannot run program "C:\IBM\SDP\runtimes\base_v7\java\jre\bin\javaw.exe" (in directory "YourWorkspaceDirectory"): CreateProcess error=87, The parameter is incorrect."
The fix for this APAR is included in Rational Application Developer v220.127.116.11.
