Error description
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: After deleting the application server from console.. SSL configuration for application server scope is not cleaned up from security.xml Recreation Steps as follows -- Created new application server (testserver) -- Mapped the alias under inbound/outbound using following step SSL certificate and key management > Manage endpoint security configurations exapnd > Node01(NodeDefaultSSLSettings,null)) > expand servers > click on Override inherited values > update certififcate alist list with alias you want.. -- save the changes and synced with node I see the following entries in the security.xml.. which is expected. ========================================= managementScopes xmi:id="ManagementScope_1361988314739" scopeType="server" scopeName="(cell):Cell01:(node):Node01:(server):testserver"/> <sslConfigGroups xmi:id="SSLConfigGroup_1361988314770" name="testserver" sslConfig="SSLConfig_1" managementScope="ManagementScope_1361988314739" direction="inbound" certificateAlias="testalias"/> <sslConfigGroups xmi:id="SSLConfigGroup_1361988344511" name="testserver" sslConfig="SSLConfig_1" managementScope="ManagementScope_1361988314739" direction="outbound" certificateAlias="testalias"/> </security:Security> =============================================== -- After deleting the application server from console .. Problem conclusion
Added an extention to the deleteServer task that will check for SSL configuration objects that are scoped to the server and delete them. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 6.1.0.47, 7.0.0.31, 8.0.0.7, a fixpack after 8.5.0.2.
