Error description

  • APAR Error Description (unlimited lines of 64 chars):
    ***************************************************************
    Rational Developer for System z - RDz - v8.5
When submitting a job from RDz, with an appropriate CEEOPTS DD
statement for remote debug, RDz sometimes fail to start debug
session. The job goes for normal completion as if it is a
regular job. Upon selecting Debug perspective, the listener
icon (that shows that debug daemon is listening) is missing.

    ***************************************************************
Local fix: The missing icon is a cosmetic issue. To verify the
debug daemon is still listening, issue the command 'netstat -a'
Then look for something like TCP changeme:8001 LISTENING
